Welcome to Crossing the Goal — a Catholic men's ministry devoted to supporting and equipping men to stand up and live the life they were called to by their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Conferences

The CTG team of Danny Abramowicz, Peter Herbeck, Curtis Martin and Brian Patrick motivate men through inspired talks on conversion, transformation and evangelization. Centered around the sacrifice of the Holy Mass and the sacrament of reconciliation, these uplifting half-day conference programs are designed to inspire men to go on and make a positive difference in their homes, parishes, workplaces and communities.

Spiritual Fitness Workout Groups

Message from the Coach

The Crossing the Goal Ministries (CTG) was created to be an outreach ministry to men concerning their spiritual well-being. I have personally been involved in Catholic Men’s ministry for 25 years and I have seen a growing need for resources, adapted solely for men, that would challenge them to become spiritually fit.

For this reason, the CTG team began developing resources, beginning with a TV show, Crossing the Goal, that airs on EWTN television and radio and can be viewed online on this website. Springing forth from these shows, we developed sets of DVDs based on the various episodes along with sets of questions that can be used either personally or in a group setting which we call Spiritual Fitness Workouts (SFW).

Why Men’s Small Groups?

Jesus is calling more men to become “Fishers of Men.” Yes, common, ordinary guys like you and me—just like the first Apostles who were a group of fishermen. It’s time to open our hearts to God’s calling and begin to form small men’s groups (workout groups) in parishes throughout this world so that we can become “Fishers of Men.”

Freedom From Pornography

Triggers and Danger Zones

01/16/2012

When it comes to overcoming pornography addiction, one must understand triggers and danger zones.  A trigger is anything that can easily lead a man to fall into using pornography.  Danger Zones are a bit broader than triggers.  A danger zone is an environment where a man is most at risk for being triggered.  By identifying and learning how to effectively deal with triggers and danger zones, long-term sobriety and healthy recovery are more easily achieved.
